Petit Planet Platforms: PC, Mobile and Switch 2 Status

Where will Petit Planet be available?

Petit Planet has official availability paths for Windows PC, iPhone, iPad and Android. Those are also the platforms used by the live Final Beta. Nintendo Switch 2 appears in the ESRB rating record, but that rating is not a release-date announcement or a playable store listing.

No official Petit Planet listing has been identified for PlayStation, Xbox, Steam or macOS. “Not confirmed” means there is no verified availability announcement in the sources below; it does not mean those platforms can never be added.

Platform availability matrix

• Windows PC — official route: Final Beta supported; all selected testers receive PC access. Epic Games Store provides pre-registration, with final requirements still marked TBD.
• iPhone — official listing: Final Beta supported when assigned from the survey device. Apple provides the mobile listing.
• iPad — official listing: Final Beta supported when assigned from the survey device. Apple provides the tablet listing.
• Android — official listing: Final Beta supported when assigned from the survey device. Google Play provides the mobile listing.
• Nintendo Switch 2 — rated: Not listed for the Final Beta. ESRB names the platform, but release timing and store availability are not confirmed.
• PlayStation 5 and PlayStation 4 — unconfirmed: Not listed for the Final Beta; no official availability listing identified.
• Xbox Series and Xbox One — unconfirmed: Not listed for the Final Beta; no official availability listing identified.

Steam Deck is not a separately confirmed platform. Without an official Steam release, compatibility statement or verified final PC client, the current evidence cannot establish native Steam Deck support.

Windows PC

The Epic Games Store listing names Windows as its platform, labels the base game free and offers pre-registration. Epic currently leaves the minimum and recommended CPU, memory, GPU and operating-system fields as TBD.

The date shown by a storefront is not, by itself, a global release announcement. Use the release timeline for the announced Winter 2026 window and keep store metadata separate from a publisher-confirmed exact day.

iPhone and iPad

Apple’s listing explicitly supports iPhone and iPad. Its current compatibility metadata says iOS 14.0 or later and iPadOS 14.0 or later, and displays a 3.5 GB app size. Those are App Store listing fields, not the same thing as the higher recommended device specifications for a beta build.

For Final Beta participation, mobile access depends on the compatible device submitted in the application survey. A store page or pre-registration does not grant test access.

Android

Google Play provides the official Android listing. The public page confirms the publisher and store presence but does not expose a complete final hardware table. Use system requirements for the separately published Final Beta recommendations rather than treating beta requirements as permanent launch requirements.

What does the Switch 2 rating mean?

The ESRB record lists Windows PC and Nintendo Switch 2, confirming that ESRB has rated the game for those platforms. The record does not provide a release date, an eShop page, Final Beta access, cross-save support or a promise of simultaneous launch.

Until HoYoverse or Nintendo publishes matching availability information, Switch 2 should be described as rated but not fully announced for release timing.

Beta access, store listing and launch are different

• Final Beta support means an invited tester can use an assigned platform in the current limited test.
• Store listing or pre-registration means an official product page exists; it does not provide a beta invitation.
• Rating-board listing identifies a platform in a classification record; it does not say when consumers can download it.
• Unconfirmed means this page found no current official listing or availability announcement, not that support has been ruled out.

Can Final Beta progress move between PC and mobile?

The Final Beta FAQ says progress carries between PC and an assigned mobile platform when the same HoYoverse Account is used. The first PC and mobile devices are bound to the account, and emulators are unsupported. These are test rules, not confirmation of the launch version’s cross-save policy.
